Does Mason store the biometric data on the device?
The built-in A4100 sensor drivers provide direct communication to the sensors and support data transmission to the application layer. Sensor data is not stored on the device. The Mason Framework provides a set of APIs for your application to communicate to the watch sensors directly.
The built-in sensor algorithm does store a few minutes worth of PPG and ECG data. This data will be updated at the interval that the device turns on such a sensor. Older data will be erased by new data.
The application should take action to store data outside of the watch per the use cases. In order to prevent data loss for whatever reason (e.g. connectivity), the application should take measures to store data and also use the API to establish a retry.
